Cute & Playful Kittens!

We're excited to get three new kittens who will be available for adoption tomorrow- Saturday 16. Raven, Starskey & Hutch are litter mates born on April 11, 2011. All three are cute as a bug's ear, playful and active. Most importantly, they are all litter-box trained.

Raven is a little black girl kitty, she is the smartest of the bunch.

Starskey is a cute little guy, tabby with four white socks. Starskey has a condition called Cerebellar Hypoplasia or 'CH'. Starskey's CH is very mild, making him a bit uncoordinated. He will never get any better, nor any worse. He has got the most cheerful outlook on life, and runs, plays and keeps up with his littermates. He absolutely must be an indoor only kitty.

Hutch is the big guy of the bunch. He loves to hide and sneak attack his sister and brother. Very cute and playful.

Adoption fee is $75 each. Included in the adoption fee are: Spay or neuter, testing for Feline Leukemia/FIV, FVRCP vaccination (distemper). Rescued by The Cat's Pajamas- Eugene.

Visit them at the store soon!

Meet Our New Girls. No Really Come Meet Them!

UPDATE: Sugar was adopted! July 15- will be picked up by her people next week.

July, 9 2011

We hope everyone had a fun and safe fourth. With Stanley adopted, we're now up to 42 cats adopted who've stayed in our cattery! We are happy to have join us two sweet female kitties: Millie and Sugar. Millie loves people (is very kid friendly) and is always out waiting to greet customers. She is a talker with a cute little meow. At about 4-6mnths old she'll make a great addition to almost any home. Sugar is also young, between 1-2yrs, and has a beautiful white coat. She comes out for some love anytime someone sits in the cattery and also loves dogs and other cats. Come down and see these two kitties and as a shopper said today: "Purr More, Hiss Less."

While you're in check out our great (and often local) catnip and catnip toys!

These kitties are from The Cat's Pajamas and are spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots.

Stanley is ready for his family.

UPDATE: adopted!
Thinking of adding a kitten to your family? Stanley is an adorable 3-4 month old DSH who loves to be held and to play. He is quick to purr and very friendly. He is also a vocal kitty who is well socialized and fond of dogs (as you can see he loves to snuggle with Ellie, our shop dog). Come and meet him and see if he's your guy. He is available through The Cats Pajamas Rescue Group and is neutered with all his shots up to date. Posted June 24, 2011.

Keep your dog busy and his/her teeth clean!

Stop by for a yummy and healthy treat for your dog to chew on. We have a fantastic selection including Red Barn Bully Sticks (braided version pictured and enjoyed on right), Long Lasting Antlers, Churpi Chews, and Eugene's very own: Knee Deep Cattle Company, with frozen 100% Free Range Grass Fed Beef Bones. Your dog will thank you for it!

Mischief Has Found a Home!

Mischief found her forever family this Saturday. It was love at first sight and we are so happy that she is in such a wonderful home. Her "graduation" brings us up to 37 homeless cats that have found families in the 10 months the store has been open.
The Cats Pajamas tells us that they may have adoptable KITTENS ready to bring us in the next week or two. We look forward to meeting them.

Store Kitties

We have 4 fantastic kitties awaiting their forever homes here in the Nature's Pet cattery. Tom and Snip have returned after taking a mini vacation back home with their foster mom last month. Tom and his brother Snip are both beautiful black and white tuxedo cats and about 1 year old. Both are sweet natured, affectionate, and ready for their own people. Mischief is anything but trouble. She loves to lounge around on her cat structure and look at people with her enormous golden eyes. With a bob tail and long ear tufts she is a real beauty. Mischief loves to pounce and play. Are you looking for a friend to play feather wand with? She is about 2 years old. Bella is a petite little black kitty. She has sleek long hair, golden eyes and is 2-3 years old. Bella has a quiet disposition and may be a little shy at first but loves head rubs and will quickly win your heart. All of our kitties are getting along well with each other and seem fine with both the store dogs and our canine customers. We can't wait to see them get adopted!

(Overdue) Adoption Update 12/30/10

OK, we're wa-a-a-ay overdue for a kitty adoption update. We're very proud to announce that we've had 32 cat adoptions from our store so far! The fuzzy polydactyl brothers Carl, Abe, and Bogey all found loving homes, as did our clownish tuxedo, Otis. Our sweet, jet-black girl Midnight was snatched up by a volunteer at Save the Pets. Orange-and-white O'Malley enjoyed the privilege of patrolling the store during his stay with us. He made a lot of human friends that way, and one longtime admirer fell in love with him and took him home. Our sweet and loving tuxedo called Boots found a great home with a couple of veteran cat owners; it was love at first sight for all of them when he climbed into their arms and started licking their chins! Finally, we're thrilled that our latest bonded littermates found forever homes together: Brothers Aaron (white and black patched) and Bosley (all black) will continue to play and cuddle together in their new home--when they're not too busy playing and cuddling with their new owners! Also, tuxedo siblings Dottie and Blaze found a great new family and a home with room for both of them. Of course, we miss all the great cats that we've sheltered, but the goal is to help them find forever homes with humans who will love them as much as we do. We LOVE hearing updates about them from their new families, and they all sound like they're doing great! Let's all continue to work together to help stop pet homelessness in our town.

On that note, we have some new cats who are looking for people to love. Come meet tuxedo Tom and his equally well-dressed sister Snip. They're 8 months old, vet checked, and ready to go. We also have pretty gray Misty; she's the mother of Dottie and Blaze, who were just adopted from us! Of course, she is now spayed and vaccinated, and she's looking for someone special to give her belly rubs.
